Brussels - Eric Dauchy

Eric started his journalistic career in 1984 at UPI, worked for Reuters as freelance as well as for a range of other European and US publications.

Eric was introduced to the IT world, and the Apple Macintosh, in 1988 as staff writer for Belgium's leading trade publication Data News.

Member of the editorial team of CeBIT News from 1989-1996.

In 1991, he became editor of a domestic IT trade magazine before he got the opportunity to help create European Computer Sources, a monthly for the distribution channels with English, French and German editions as well as an edition for Central & Eastern Europe.

In 1994 he created the Networld+Interop Show daily for Europe.

He ‘jumped the fence’ in 1996 to create, manage and implement EMEA PR campaigns and successfully launch The Constellation Group as an umbrella organization of boutique PR firms that offer nimble, focused and highly cost-effective marketing support in Europe.
